GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) –

Larkin’s Restaurants is developing a new authentic Italian restaurant in downtown Greenville, according to Liz Brown, a spokesperson for the company.

The name of the restaurant will be Limoncello, after the Italian liqueur, and is expected to open in late October or early November. It will be located in the space formerly occupied by the Playwright Irish Pub on River Street.

Brown said the menu will feature authentic Italian dishes served family style, unique pizzas, and build-your-own antipasto options.

The outdoor portico area outside the restaurant is also being redesigned to resemble an Italian piazza. The outdoor area will include a fountain feature, outdoor seating, and market umbrellas.
